Over the last month I have been moving, traveling back and forth from LA to Miami, and been completely enthralled with the Celtics playoff run. There is a lot to catch up personally, not to mention Lakers / Celtics Finals!

I have been thinking about getting the Serra vs St-Pierre UFC 83 fight. My interest in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) started with the reeeeaally amature fights on HDNet Fights. Then I graduated to EliteXC thanks to Kimbo Slice. Now I am ready for the big time UFC 83 Serra vs St-Pierre!

Well, while perusing my Fantasy Baseball team I saw an ad for the event to be broadcast over the internet on Yahoo! Sports for $45. It is a pretty bold move considering I can order it in HD on a 52 inch screen for 10 bucks more. The technology is still evolving rapidly, but the viewing habits of people are slow to change. I would love to see the number of viewers and what type of demographics are ordering it (ie. people without TV!)

About a month ago I powered thru the gauntlet that was MIX08 and SXSW 2008. Pretty much every person I know who did it was wiped afterwards. And the amount of time to absorb, catalog, and disseminate has been a little bit daunting (read between the lines: more content to come, albeit late!). Needless to say, the nice folks at Web 2.0 TV were interested in interviewing me about Sapient. Well here it is in Link form: (YUM!)

So I decided to get in the blog game! I work developing content for the web space and it only took me what, 5 years to get started? I am sort of embarrassed that it has taken me this long to take a crack at it. I think a big part of it was getting the first post out of the way. Was it supposed to be thought provoking, or coherent for that matter? So much pressure I tells ya! Well here it is! The next one will be better, and more about technology, creative ideas, or the future. All a bit more exciting than my “feelings”. So welcome! I hope this is inspiring or at least engaging.
